Leader Lab Moderator: Marie-Louise Kelly
Chief Financial Officer of Orix Aviation
Marie-Louise is the Chief Financial Officer of ORIX Aviation, a position she has held since March 2016. She is a Board Director of the company since 2018.
Marie-Louise joined ORIX Aviation in 2009. Prior to being appointed to her current role, she held various roles across finance, commercial, corporate planning and structuring.
Marie-Louise has over seventeen years’ experience in financial services. Prior to joining ORIX, she trained in KPMG Dublin’s Financial Services Tax division.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Studies from University College Dublin. Marie-Louise is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor. She has also been appointed as Vice Chair of industry lobby group, Aircraft Leasing Ireland.

What are your Core Values?
Speaker: Kate Kirby, Head of Performance Psychology at the Sport Ireland Institute.
Kate has worked at the highest level of sport for over a decade and has provided her expertise to numerous governing bodies, including the Irish Sailing Association, IRFU, Hockey Ireland, Tennis Ireland, Horse Sport Ireland and numerous inter-county GAA teams.
She also works privately with athletes from individual sports such as golf and athletics, as well as players from a broad range of team sports. She has attended both the London and Rio Olympic Games as a member of Team Ireland’s support staff, and her contribution to Annalise Murphy’s Olympic silver medal through their long-standing work together has been widely acknowledged.
Kate also possesses considerable expertise in the area of athlete career and lifestyle management. Through her current work as a personal development consultant for the Gaelic Player’s Association and in her previous position at Rugby Player’s Ireland, she has supported the dual careers of many high-performance athletes and helped them through their transition out of elite sport and into the next phase of their working lives.
Originally from Clonakilty, Co. Cork, Kate now lives in Dublin with her husband and 2 young children. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, running and reading.
Kate will be talking to us about Core Values and her professional experience throughout the years coaching people in their pursuit for sporting excellence and the need to your values firmly connected with your ambitions.

Our life is all about relationships. Connections with others. The success of those connections has a lot to do with our happiness. How to make those relationships lasting and meaningful?
Learning outcome: understanding that relationships (family, friendship, colleagues) require involvement, communication, effort, and understanding. It requires work. But this effort always pays off.

Group Mentoring involves teams of 3 girls and 1 mentor reading a case study and discussing it. The case study is based on the previous Leader Lab. Duration: 40 minutes.
Social Impact Planning: involves small teams coming together to work on helping a Charity in what they need during this time.
Award Ceremony
When the programme is completed, there is an Award Ceremony for those who have completed the Programme. To qualify for the Award, you need to complete 80% of the Programme.

Group Mentoring involves teams of 7 girls plus 2 mentors. It involves reading a case study and discussing it. The case study is based on the previous Leader Lab. Duration: 40 minutes.
Social Impact Planning: involves the teams of 12 participants come together to work on an event for a Charity. This event is scheduled for April-May.

After the Social Impact Visit in October and the Social Impact Planning in October and November, each group of 10 Momentum Leadership participants will hold a Christmas Event for a Charity.
